Pintura feita sem o intuito de entrar para o projeto sobre o Tarot. Embora eu já tenha pintado o mesmo tema em 4 telas, ainda estou para pintar a que irá compor o futuro projeto.

Ayahuasca, nome de origem inca, que quer dizer algo como chicote da alma, trata-se de uma bebida sacramental produzida a partir de duas plantas nativas da floresta amazonica: o cipó banisteropsis caapi(jagube) e o arbusto psychotria viridis (chacrona). Nos rituais que utilizam esta bebida, também conhecida como vinho das almas, acontece o que chamam de estados ampliados de consciência, onde os mundos se encontram em um lugar que não é um lugar e em um espaço que não é um espaço... Forte e sagrado sacramento que dá a oportunidade de uma comunhão direta com a divindade.

Técnica mista, onde utilizei acrílica e óleo, em etapas diferentes... Foi uma tela em que trabalhei por diversos meses, sempre mexendo aqui ou ali, até que um dia resolvi parar e assinar.

“A Chave” faz parte de uma série de pinturas que fiz em cartão, utilizando aquarela, nanquim e guache. Tanto por falta de condições para comprar outro tipo de material como por ser algo mais livre, a série chegou a mais de cinqüenta títulos, muitos destes dados a amigos ou vendidos sem eu ter me preocupado com o registro das obras. Hoje possuo algumas fotografadas ou arquivadas.
Nesse tipo de pintura não me utilizo de esboço, deixo a inspiração vir e pinto à mão livre, sendo assim uma pintura rápida e quase mediúnica, pois nunca sei o que vai surgir em meio às tintas e à água- nunca sei ao que ou quem vou dar passagem. Nessa técnica utilizo muita água, assim como uso muito a mão, assopros, movimentos rápidos e sem pensar muito.

"The Key" is part of a series of paintings that I made in cardboard, using watercolor, Indian ink and gouache. Both for lack of conditions to buy another type of material as being something more free, the number reached more than fifty titles, many of these data to friends or sold unless I have me worried about the record of the works. Today some have photographed or archived. In this type of painting I do not use the draft, let the inspiration come and paint by hand free, so a painting quickly and almost spiritual therefore never know what will emerge in the midst of the paint and water-never know to what or whom I will pass. In this technique use a lot of water, and use the very hand, blast, quick movements and without thinking.

Esta tela compõe a série Orixás, trabalho que desenvolvi abordando os deuses africanos e que ganhou dimensões não esperadas por mim, tendo mesmo de fazer mais de duas telas pra cada orixá devido à procura. Particularmente é uma das telas do projeto que mais gostei.
Deus Originário do Daomé, Obaluaiê é uma flexão dos termos Obá (rei) - Oluwô (senhor) - Ayiê (terra), "rei, senhor da terra”. Orixá muito respeitado e temido por seu mistério e por ser também relacionado as doenças (e curas), em particular a peste, e aos cemitérios. Sua imagem arquetípica revela o sábio, o guardião dos segredos, o feiticeiro. Em sua cabaça traz todas as doenças e seus antídotos.

This screen comprises a series Orixás, that development work addressing the African gods and dimensions not expected to win for me, having to do even more than two screens for each Orixá due to demand. Particularly is one of the screens of the project that more like it. Originating God of Dahomey, Obaluaiê is a bending of the terms Obá (King) - Oluwô (sir) - Ayiê (land), "king, lord of earth." Orixá highly respected and feared for its mystery and it is also related diseases ( and cures), especially the plague, and cemeteries. The picture shows the archetypal wise, the guardian of secrets, sorcerer. In his gourd brings all diseases and their antidotes.

Among the various sketches I made within my project / study on the Tarot this would be one of the works likely to compose the screens / official letters. But other screens will come with the same reason ...

Esta pintura possui valor especial para mim, tanto por se tratar de uma síntese da fase em que me encontrava como por representar o homem como microcosmos. Eis que o homem é o seu próprio templo, alicerçado entre luz e trevas, na busca cósmica pelo perfeito equilíbrio. Assim como está escrito "Vós sois templos de Deus".
