“Conhece-te a ti mesmo e conhecerás os Deuses e os homens”.
Esta pintura possui valor especial para mim, tanto por se tratar de uma síntese da fase em que me encontrava como por representar o homem como microcosmos. Eis que o homem é o seu próprio templo, alicerçado entre luz e trevas, na busca cósmica pelo perfeito equilíbrio. Assim como está escrito "Vós sois templos de Deus".

This painting has special value for me, both because it is a synthesis of the stage where I was as represented by the man as microcosm. Behold, the man is his own temple, founded between light and darkness, in the quest for perfect cosmic balance. As it is written: "You are temples of God."
